Our story
Why we founded Frontline Faith Missions.
Frontline Faith Missions was born from a shared calling to serve others, strengthen faith, and create opportunities for people to experience the life-changing impact of missions.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.”1 Peter 4:10
As a nurse and firefighter, we have both dedicated our careers to serving people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Our professions have taught us compassion, resilience, teamwork, and what it truly means to step forward when someone else is in need. But over the years, God placed an even greater calling on our hearts: to take the skills, knowledge, and experiences He has given us and use them to serve beyond the walls of our hospitals, fire stations, and local communities.
Our journey into missions began together in 2018 in Tipitapa, Nicaragua. We arrived prepared to work and serve others, but we could never have anticipated how deeply that experience would change us in return.
That first mission trip changed our hearts forever. It opened our eyes to the incredible impact that can happen when people simply show up, work alongside one another, build relationships, and love people where they are. More personally, it marked the beginning of a new chapter in our own marriage and our walk with Christ. Through serving together, our faith grew stronger, our priorities began to shift, and we discovered a shared purpose that would continue calling us back to missions year after year.
What began with one trip to Nicaragua became something much bigger.
Over the years, additional mission experiences connected us with incredible ministries and organizations, including Global Commission Builders, Chances for Children, Assemblies of God, Feed My Starving Children, and others who demonstrated what it looks like to put faith into action. Along the way, we built lifelong friendships, learned from experienced mission leaders, served alongside local communities, and witnessed firsthand the power of people coming together with a common purpose.
Those experiences eventually planted the seed for Frontline Faith Missions. We realized that we didn't simply want to continue going on mission trips ourselves — we wanted to create opportunities for others to experience what missions had given us.
Frontline Faith Missions brings together the pieces of our lives that mean the most to us: our faith, our professions, our heart for service, and our desire to help others.
We are especially passionate about creating mission opportunities for nurses, firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement officers, hospital staff, and others who spend their lives serving people. Those who work on the front lines carry experiences and burdens that are difficult to explain to someone who hasn't lived them. We believe there is something incredibly powerful about bringing people with those shared experiences together — not only to serve communities in need, but also to find connection, purpose, spiritual renewal, and healing themselves.
Our mission is not simply to arrive somewhere and provide temporary help. We want to serve alongside communities, partner with organizations and leaders already doing meaningful work, share our professional knowledge and skills where they can make a difference, build lasting relationships, and demonstrate the love of Christ through both our words and our actions.
And perhaps most importantly, we want others to discover what we discovered in 2018:
Sometimes you leave home believing you are going to change someone else's life, only to discover that God used the experience to change yours.
That is the heart behind Frontline Faith Missions.

Our mission
Give back. Go deeper. Come home different.
Our mission is to give first responders and hospital staff an opportunity to give back while deepening their walk in faith — or discovering a faith they may have never known. We believe that through serving others, engaging in meaningful group discussions, and praying together, true healing can take place in both the heart and mind.
We are especially passionate about supporting those dealing with PTSD and the unseen burdens that often come with serving others. Frontline Faith Missions exists to provide a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can share openly, find encouragement, and grow spiritually alongside a supportive community.
At our core, we are committed to helping our brothers and sisters in Christ find restoration, renewed purpose, and lasting hope through faith, service, and connection.
